when I was just a child, believe it or not! I have loved flowers since I was old enough to know what they were! My dad helped me create a flower garden as a young girl, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. In 2015, Vintage Floral Designs started to blossom in unexpected ways.
After helping a friend with her wedding flowers, more and more people started to ask about my floral services too. Through word of mouth, I gained a lovely base of floral design side work that provided me with a fun, creative outlet.
After about 3 years of side hustling, changes in my life prompted me to leave my full-time job and pursue my passion! Officially, Vintage Floral Design was fully born. Starting a new business was no glamorous process, but through hard work and amazing support, this floral business continues to climb to the next levels. With each step, I am more and more thrilled that I get to call this my career.
I’m always the first to laugh at myself. I’m a transplanted girl with a southern heart and yankee mind! I have twin girls that look nothing alike. They’re both beautifully outgoing, silly, caring, intelligent, strong, and adventurous!
While being a parent is not always easy, my girls are my everything. I love what I do because this business gives me the flexibility to be with my daughters more often. Frequently, you’ll even see the girls with me at meetings and jobs. I wouldn’t have it any other way! Before long, I hope they’ll be working right beside me. They certainly have the artistic eye for it!
My team and I strive to be available for our clients as much as possible so we can put our creative minds together. Vintage Floral Designs exists for you! I am always happy to give my opinion or ideas, but I want to be sure each element is true to my client’s vision and personality. I strive to always be available for my clients as we put our creative minds together. Vintage Floral Designs exists for you!
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, my girls, and my business a little better. We can’t wait to serve you and create something beautiful together!
Lily has been working with Vintage Floral Designs for over 3 years, after having moved from California’s central coast to the Knoxville area. You can find her both in the shop and behind the computer, working on your custom quotes! Some of Lily’s favorite wedding aesthetics include garden-style, whimsical, elegant and boho. Lily’s interest in wedding florals began when she DIY’d her own wedding florals, allowing her insight into creating something beautiful and unique, even within a specific budget. Lily is also a mother, who is thrilled to raise her children around flowers and the beauty of East Tennessee.
With her degree in Fine Arts and over a decade of hospitality and event experience, Whitney loves creating meaningful experiences through art and floral design. She thrives in the whirlwind of the behind-the-scenes process and seeing the moment everything comes together. While she enjoys the challenge of structured, sculptural arrangements and is equally inspired by organic garden-style designs, Whitney loves exploring a wide range of styles, textures, and colors. In her free time, you can find Whitney soaking up life as a new mom, thrifting, trying new restaurants with her husband, and snuggling up with her dog while watching reality TV.
Sarah is a Knoxville native who has had a love of flowers for as long as she can remember. Jumping into the wedding floral world just felt right. Sarah loves being able to take flowers and greenery and turn it into a work of art that is as special and unique as each couple. Some of her favorite wedding aesthetics are wildflower, garden-picked, and classic all-white florals. When she’s not working with flowers, Sarah stays busy chasing her 3 boys or their dog and 2 kittens. Creating wedding florals is her calm in the chaos!
